Yet in our modern lives, and especially in New Zealand, we don't touch each other enough.
Touch has been made scary. It's been sexualised.
Yet caring touch, done with the right intentions, with consent, supports the production of feel good hormones and helps people feel less alone, less isolated, less worried, and less angry.
Touch is one of the main remedies that can help depression.
